2026 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) Results

Our students performed well overall in this year’s HKDSE, with the rate of achieving high levels continuing to improve. A total of 24 counts of Level 5* or 5** were achieved.

Moving Forward Steadily, Witnessing Growth

  • The overall passing rate reached 98%, with 11 subjects achieving a 100% passing rate.
  • 74% of all subject entries attained Level 3 or above.
  • 33% of all subject entries attained Level 4 or above.
  • Half of our students met the general admission requirements for undergraduate programmes (332A+2).

Performance in Core Subjects Well Above the Hong Kong Average

  • Chinese Language: 76% attained Level 3 or above; English Language: 61% attained Level 3 or above.
  • 75% of students achieved Level 3 or above in Mathematics, with the percentages of students attaining Level 3 or above in Chinese, English, and Mathematics all exceeding the Hong Kong average.
  • Chinese Language: The percentage of students attaining Level 5* is higher than the Hong Kong average.
  • Citizenship and Social Development: 100% Attained

Outstanding Performance in Elective Subjects, Percentage of Starred Grades Reaching a New High

  • Mathematics Extended Part Module 2 (M2): The percentage of students attaining Level 5** is higher than the Hong Kong average.
  • The percentages of students attaining Level 5* or above in Mathematics Extended Part Module 2 (M2), Chinese History, Economics, Geography, and Tourism and Hospitality Studies exceeded the Hong Kong average.
  • The percentages of students attaining Level 5 or above in Mathematics Extended Part Module 2 (M2), Biology, Chinese History, Economics, Geography, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS), and Tourism and Hospitality Studies exceeded the Hong Kong average.
  • The percentages of students attaining Level 4 or above in Mathematics Extended Part Module 2 (M2), Biology, Chinese Literature, Economics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS), and Tourism and Hospitality Studies exceeded the Hong Kong average; notably, 100% of candidates in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) attained Level 4 or above.
